I think some people forget that God is a Father. What do parents do….? They protect and want the best for their children. While I was doing some research on what the word veiled means I found it quite interesting. The collins dictionary says that veiled means, “ covered or concealed by, or as if by, a veil. a veiled woman. Not openly or directly expressed; masked; disguised; hidden; obscure”. This definition is beautiful to me because sometimes God veils us to protect us. When he covers you or hides you, he is protecting you. He does this because of the promise and call he has over your life. You aren’t meant for just anyone. You aren’t meant to do just anything. If you haven’t noticed, everything God has ever created has been so intentional. There isn’t anything that God creates without purpose. If you feel like you aren’t seen or the right people or person hasn’t noticed you yet. Know it’s because he has veiled you. We also forget that God sees the beginning and the end. Meaning there are things we can’t see because it’s above our capability or understanding. This is something that God has ministered to me so much on. For the longest I would feel like I wasn’t seen by anyone. But I would mostly get this feeling with guys. I would walk around the halls of school and feel like I wasn’t seen by them. Even a little as I got older, I would feel like men wouldn’t notice me. I would walk around with my girl friends and guys would stare at them. I would feel ugly and unwanted. But it wasn’t until God stopped me and made me understand that I was different. Just like God knows everything that is going to happen, he also knows what would happen if he allowed others to see you. The way I was back then… I probably would have given attention to the wrong people. I probably would of entertained things and people I shouldn’t have. God knows our hearts and what we need. Plus I wasn’t mean’t to be with just anyone. Not just any guy is supposed to see me, but “the one”. When the time is right I will be unveiled to the right one and he will see me with the Fathers eyes. Now I understand that God was protecting me all along and still is…. That he loves me and isn’t going to give his children to just anything. He is an intentional and careful Father. When God veils you it’s because there is purpose. Being veiled is actually a beautiful thing. We need to trust that God knows what he is doing. You may not understand it in the moment but once you are on the other side, you will understand what he was doing all along.

Thank God for the veil placed over your life and trust him…
