Hey guys! My name is Jasmin, I am the daughter of the living God. I want you to understand more of the title of this blog. It’s called Journaling for the Lord because that’s how I started off. To me writing was something that I did intimately with the Lord. Ever since I became a believer I’ve always written to the Lord. Whether it’s because I learned something, I was talking about my crush, plans/desires I had, confusions I had or I was simply pouring my heart out to God. There was this one year where I was in a depressive state and God told me go into your google docs. God is funny because I was telling him, “God I am sad and sobbing right now, why is this what you want me to do right now”. He then gave me topics and I started to write. He than put in my heart to put on the top, “maybe a book or blog”. What I had yet to realize was that God was using me in that instance for something much greater than me and my plans. It was in that moment that I realized that Gods plans are greater than our own. That even when you feel like you have nothing to give, you have a lot to give because it’s not you, its his power through you. A year passes by and I’m receiving a word from a Prophet, from God. God used her to tell me and confirm that I am going to be blogging and that people need to hear my writings. See the plans God has for you he will reveal to you first and than confirm it. I’m not gonna lie I was in shock because to me these writings were personal, I didn’t think God was going to expose me LOL. But the reason I’ve always been writing to God was because God was preparing me to share with the world through writing what having him in your heart/life truly does and means. My writings started turning from writing to God, to writing out what Gods done In my life to you. See what you’ve gone through never goes in vain to God. What the devil wanted to use to kill you, God uses it to lift you up and for his glory. Jeremiah 29:11
