I want you to know as I am writing this blog, I am also allowing it to minister to my heart as well… But I realized that like our ancestors, we can be complainers… We complain because we aren’t in the season that we thought we would be in by now. We complain because we don’t have what we long for. We complain because we don’t understand what God is doing… I always find it insane how we are more like the Israelites than we actually think… Another thing that I find mind boggling is that history repeats itself, have you ever heard of that statement before? I’d like to say that people are being dramatic when they say that, but time and time again, we’ve proven that with mankind that it’s true. It’s hard for us to trust God, it’s hard for us to lay it down at Gods feet… It’s funny because I was watching a video from “With the Perry’s”, they were speaking about how we human beings act or feel like God is withholding something good from us… When God isn’t, He is actually protecting us… We are the ones with a heart issue, that we need help with. But the most beautiful thing about it, is that God already knows that… Which is why He is so patient with us and waits… We are the ones who need to refocus, and trust in God. When we are on the other side, is when we truly understand what the whole point was. But I want to challenge you today… what if in the waiting process we actually just stood still and followed His direction… It’s in that waiting process where we truly prove that we truly trust in God. But we miss understanding that alot of the times, and I speak for myself as well… A lot of times God waits until you learn and comprehend what He is doing in the process, before He does anything else. As it is pruning you… and teaching you tools that you will need for the rest of your journey with Him. He’s actually a loving, kind, merciful and gracious Father… Would you give your 10 year old child a Ferrari, or would you wait until your child is mature enough to handle & drive it…?
God is waiting on you… Will you be a complainer through the process or will you be one whom waits on the Lord confidently…?
