• Veiled.

I think some people forget that God is a Father. What do parents do….? They protect and want the best for their children. While I was doing some research on what the word veiled means I found it quite interesting. The collins dictionary says that veiled means, “ covered or concealed by, or as if by, a veil. a veiled woman. Not openly or directly expressed; masked; disguised; hidden; obscure”. This definition is beautiful to me because sometimes God veils us to protect us. When he covers you or hides you, he is protecting you. He does this because of the promise and call he has over your life. You aren’t meant for just anyone. You aren’t meant to do just anything. If you haven’t noticed, everything God has ever created has been so intentional. There isn’t anything that God creates without purpose. If you feel like you aren’t seen or the right people or person hasn’t noticed you yet. Know it’s because he has veiled you. We also forget that God sees the beginning and the end. Meaning there are things we can’t see because it’s above our capability or understanding. This is something that God has ministered to me so much on. For the longest I would feel like I wasn’t seen by anyone. But I would mostly get this feeling with guys. I would walk around the halls of school and feel like I wasn’t seen by them. Even a little as I got older, I would feel like men wouldn’t notice me. I would walk around with my girl friends and guys would stare at them. I would feel ugly and unwanted. But it wasn’t until God stopped me and made me understand that I was different. Just like God knows everything that is going to happen, he also knows what would happen if he allowed others to see you. The way I was back then… I probably would have given attention to the wrong people. I probably would of entertained things and people I shouldn’t have. God knows our hearts and what we need. Plus I wasn’t mean’t to be with just anyone. Not just any guy is supposed to see me, but “the one”. When the time is right I will be unveiled to the right one and he will see me with the Fathers eyes. Now I understand that God was protecting me all along and still is…. That he loves me and isn’t going to give his children to just anything. He is an intentional and careful Father. When God veils you it’s because there is purpose. Being veiled is actually a beautiful thing. We need to trust that God knows what he is doing. You may not understand it in the moment but once you are on the other side, you will understand what he was doing all along.

Thank God for the veil placed over your life and trust him…

  • Gratitude

I am sorry if in this blog i am very rough or straightforward. But sometimes we can be ungrateful brats. We are so fixated on our minds and what we feel that a lot of times we miss what God is doing. I once received a prophetic word that said… “God said to stop letting the devil take away your smile, he is trying to do that to take your joy so you don’t see what God is doing and going to do”. Meaning i was allowing the enemy to blind me from seeing what God was already doing. When you allow the enemy to fill your mind with garbage you will miss what God is telling you and showing you. When you allow him to mess with your sight, you will no longer see and live the way God is clear to you in his word on how he wants you to live. God says we live by faith not by sight. So why do we tend to contradict his word a lot of times in our lives. I also believe that the devil lovesssss to bring distractions over our lives.. Its crazy because the devil uses the same techniques to catch us every time. But we forget this and still fall into his traps all over again. We become very impatient as well, we want everything when we want it. But life doesn’t work like that, God honestly doesn’t work like that. God in his word says in Philippians 4:6, ” Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”. Now, i really want to dwell into this verse, because this verse has really impacted my life this year! In this verse God says, do not be anxious. Meaning do not get stressed, frustrated and worried. Next thing he says is but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Meaning he wants us to pray, beg and be thankful. God ministered to my heart even further on this verse. We want so many things in life but we aren’t grateful and thankful for what we already have. We have so much already and we don’t appreciate it. We want God to keep giving and giving when we aren’t even thankful about what he has already done. Sometimes we let our mind really take over us and that is so dangerous. You can’t let you mind have control, you have to submit unto the authority of God. I used to feel like God didn’t speak to me, that he favored his other children. But then God ministered to me in an instant and said, i do speak to you. You just don’t listen or see me, you are so fixated on how you think it should look like. You are also more focused on what i am doing with your neighbor rather than what i am doing with your life right now. Then i paused and God reminded me all the times even in the present moment that he spoke that to me, when he was speaking LOUD AND CLEAR. If we allow distractions to cloud our mind and sight, we will miss when God is speaking. We will miss what God is trying to show us. In this season i challenge you to be more thankful and acknowledge that the Father has always been at work in your life, even when you couldn’t see it. I also challenge you to know that God does hear you, but also be grateful for what he has already done as well.

  • Identity

We need to understand our identity in God. The definition for identity is who a person is, or who a person defines their being as. For example, who am i? I identify myself as a women of God. The bible is full of scriptures that tell us who God says we are. Jesus is the evident reason that we have new life. Now if we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior we are called new creations. We are called sons and daughters, free, loved, forgiven, etc. In Galatians 3:26 : For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. This is so beautiful guys, if you believe in Jesus Christ you are now a child of God!!! You know how amazing that is, i speak out of experience. Its been about 12 years since i’ve accepted the Lord as my savior. I can tell you its been the best thing i could have ever done. Obviously there are ups and downs, following Christ isn’t easy. But i can tell you i am a way better person now that i have him in my heart truly. I used to be such a lonely, sad, depressed, empty, etc little girl. I was always looking for acceptance, joy, love in all the wrong places. Until God took me out of the pit that i was in. I think the acceptance part was the biggest part of my life. I was always trying to be what others wanted me to be. I did things to make other people happy. But i did all this because i had no identity. I did not know who i was, i was very lost. To me my name/my being had no meaning. Until God rescued me, he renamed me, he healed me, he transformed me, he lifted me up, he called me, and he heard me. Now i don’t look for myself in other people. I am not going to lie, because i would try to find my identity in other people for so long, sometimes its hard. Sometimes i find myself trying to please others, but God instantly reminds me and brings me back to him. The more you understand he is the one who gives you identity because he created you, the less you care about being what others want you to be. Instead you focus on pursuing and being the person God created you to be. I’ve had to learn the hard way, we put our identity on ever-changing people. If we put our identity on people we will go crazy, like i used to. People’s opinion about you is alwaysssss changing! People can like you today and tomorrow completely not like you anymore. But you know what God says, he is the same today, yesterday and forever. Meaning the way he feels about you is the same alwaysss! He doesn’t change his mind about how he feels about you and sees you. He is madly in love with his creation, he created us for his pleasure, glory and honor. I thank God he doesn’t see me the way others see me. The truth will always be that man will fail you, but God never does. Thats why we have to put our whole lives in him. We have to accept and believe what God says about us. We are not what the world says we are. We accept a lot of labels that society and this world like to attach to our name. I would almost say that we do this because of ignorance. We don’t read the word enough, if we did we would understand our identity fully. Being a child of God brings so much to you…. Your new name is favored, an heir, loved, wanted, equipped, capable, forgiven, healed, holy, transformed, a daughter and son of God. I don’t know about you guys, but that gives me peace. But along side of understanding this, is actually being it. You aren’t a true Christian; follower of Christ if you don’t act like you are all these things. Jesus came to free us but do we act free? God in his word is clear.. faith without works is dead and also you will know someone by their fruits. You can say all you want, but what will really back you up is your actions…

My prayer for you guys today is that you guys really understand your identity in God. That you guys know you are so loved and wanted. I also pray that you guys read more of the word of God so that you can understand what your identity of being a child of God entails. All the blessings, declarations and promises that God states towards your beautiful life.

If he renamed me, he can for sure give you a new name…

  • The True Test

We will be tested on what we say. Do we truly believe it? Or are we just saying it to say it? A lot of times we say we trust God. A lot of times we say we have faith. But do we really? Do our actions match our words. I feel like God will test us on the things we say. We say we believe in God but sometimes we live like we don’t. We say we believe in his power but the moment we have to use faith, we grab unto doubt and confusion. Look I get it, sometimes it’s easier to grab unto what’s easy. Sometimes having faith takes time, I get it. You have to wait for what you hope for. But if you just wait……. Don’t lose hope. We can’t say we believe in something when we don’t actually live like it. God says you will know someone by their fruits. Meaning if someone says they believe in the hope that is found in Jesus. The proof of that truth will be how that person talks, how they handle tough situations, how they live their life, etc. Not only do your words have to testify about what you truly believe what your actions as well. You say you believe that God does miracles. You say you believe Jesus saves. You say you believe God loves you. You say you believe you are forgiven. You say God can make happen anything that’s impossible. But do you actually believe that’s possible…. I say I believe in the truth of the word of God. But how come when God says to wait, trust, be patient, persevere, etc I find it really hard to stay steadfast? I find it crazy how stubborn and forgetful we can be. God has constantly showed us how great he is. How, when he says something it always comes to passss! But still we find it hard to believe sometimes. Sometimes we even do it unconsciously, we doubt in the back of our mind. But I pray and declare that we start to endure the trial! Our faith will be tested… will you past the test, is the real question… My prayer for you guys today is that your actions match your words. You say you believe in God, but you need to prove it in all your ways.

  • Perseverance

Today I want to motivate someone, to keep fighting the good fight.

1 Timothy 6:12: Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

God is telling us to keep going, we have to understand that God never said we wouldn’t go through things. We will go through trials and tribulations, we live in this sinful world. But God promises us he will be with us through it all. He told us do not worry because Jesus already conquered the world. So it may look like the devil is winning over you, but trust me he will never win over you. I know it’s hard to believe sometimes that we have the victory when all we are seeing with our natural eyes is the opposite of victory. But we do have victory, God promised that. We need to understand that this isn’t the end for those who hold hope in Jesus Christ. If we hold firm no matter what comes our way and continue to believe in Jesus Christ, our end goal (our reward) is eternity in heaven with our Father. But he also wants us to experience eternity here on earth. I believe that sometimes we forget about the essential tools God left us here on earth. God left us the ability to have faith for a reason.

Faith in Hebrews 11:1 tells us, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”.

Meaning we may not see that things are going to get better, we may not see the victory, we may not see transformation, healing, love, joy, goodness, freedom, etc (whatever you hope for). But we must believe that even though things don’t look good, we have to believe it like it’s already good. You have to see it before it happens. For example in the natural I see that I’m not where I need to be nor want to be in my intimacy level with God. But I have to walk and talk like I’m already there, even though I don’t see it yet. I have to believe that even though things don’t look like how I hope for right now, it’s going to happen in Gods time (it’s coming!) God will make it a reality I just have to hope and walk like it’s already in existence/reality. It’s not based on what I see right now, it’s based on if I believe it’s going to happen. God can make anything happen, but do you believe/ trust in his magnitude ?

Do not be dismayed, do not let your heart get sadden neither get discouraged. When you get discouraged that means you are losing hope. God is clear on why he tells us to have faith and not go based on what we do not see. Keep going, have faith. Live like it’s already happening, when you least expect it God will make it happen. If it’s according to his will, I think we also forget that God is a careful Father. He’s not going to give you something he knows will harm you. God knows everything he does and does not do and the reasoning. There are a lot of factors that play in that we do not realize. Don’t give up!!! Keep walking…. Keep believing it’s coming…. Grab your tool (faith) it’s really powerful once you truly believe in it.

  • “FREEDOM”

Part 2: While God gives freedom satan brings bondage. In part 1 I explained to you guys how dark the devil loves to take people. He will bring people up to the top, but will bring them back down real quick. Listen, God never said there wouldn’t be struggles in this world. Of course there will be because we live in a sinful world. But for those who are true believers of Jesus Christ, this is not the end for you, if you truly believe in him and what he came to do. In believing in Jesus after this life we will live in eternity with our Father in heaven. Following Jesus helps you through these struggles. I’m a living testimony that following Jesus Christ brings freedom. I used to be broken, lost, confused, hurt, angry, embarrassed, ashamed, felt guilty, etc. Now I am free from all that. Now I am sanctified, healed, freed, loved, wanted, whole, transformed, joyful, etc. I took some time, but Jesus led me there. There’s hope in Jesus knowing that this isn’t my final destination!!! That all this suffering is temporary, because In heaven there won’t be suffering!!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Meaning now in Jesus Christ there is a hope for life. Sin brings death, which is so evident. Sin brings you so dark, to the point where you want to kill yourself. Sin is the absence of the Father because the Father can’t be near sin it’s not in his nature. That’s why the closer to sin we are the further away we are from God. God allowed his only son to die on the cross for us so that we can have a chance to life with him. God knew we were gonna fail, we live in a sinful world. But he loved us so much that he had to find a way to bring us back home. He didn’t find us an answer to excuse our sin, but to give us a chance to true freedom. God didn’t want nor designed his children to be in the custody of the enemy. Which is why he allowed his only son to pay for the cost of his children’s freedom. But it’s up to us, it’s our free will. We choose to be in bondage with the enemy or in freedom with Jesus Christ.

  • “Boxing God”

God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent. We can’t put him in a box. God is God and he will do what he pleases. He knows his creation better then we know! His ways are higher than ours. Since he is outside of time he sees what we are incapable of seeing… We tend to see God in the lens of man sometimes. Why do you think we don’t see miracles, people freed, happy, etc that often. People don’t believe in his power!! Or maybe they do but they put God in a box which limits the great things God wants to do in your life! You can’t box God because you don’t know what he wants to do in your life and the life of your neighbor. God works differently for allllllll his children. God wants to do powerful and great things in your life, but you have to believe he can. Stop doubting in Gods power. God says in his word, “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God” Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV. Meaning in our hands we are limited, but in Gods power and strength all things can happen, even the things you can’t imagine. Only God can do what you think is impossible. We human beings see a lot of things in this world as impossible. For example we feel like we are in capable of making blind people see again. But if you truly left it in Gods hands and trusted that he can heal the blind, it is possible. But there is one requirement in order for it to happen, for you to believe… God can do it, but if you don’t believe what’s the point. Lately I’ve been noticing that we don’t realize how much we box God. We tend to try to compare our walk with everyone, but God is doing a new thing, and something different in everyone…. God is a genuine God, he created us all different for a reason. God is clear in his word and says we are all different body parts in his kingdom. Meaning we are one, but we all work very distinctly. We are each going to reach different people for his glory and honor. He created us all specifically for different purposes. Which is why he doesn’t always work the same with all of us. He’s the same God, his word doesn’t change. But he does things differently with all his children. That’s why as a child of God you have to ask God specifically, “God what do you want to do in my life and what are you doing in my life”. Please don’t compare your walk with everyone else, your walk isn’t like everyone. Just because God reveals your future person in a dream, it doesn’t mean he’s going to do that with everyone. He reveals himself to everyone differently, and does things differently. We tend to unconsciously tell God what he is and isn’t capable of doing. We may not say it directly, but we show it but constantly questioning after he said/shows it. If he tells and shows you something is going to happen it’s because he knows it’s possible. Not only that because he knows he can do it! God can literally do anythinggggggg, he created everything people…. God is all powerful and all-knowing. If I want you to take anything from what I’m saying today, I would say don’t limit what God is trying to do in your life. Ask for direction, ask God to reveal his plan for your life. Not only that but don’t limit what he is capable of doing in the lives of those around you as well. Pray for Gods will to be done like it is in heaven.

  • Is God enough?

I’m sorry but I had to put part 2 on a quick hold. I feel like this is really important to release to you guys. Lately God has been ministering this word to me, “if all you are left with is God, will he be enough for you….?”. You have to get to the point in your life, where if all you are left with is God, that’s okay for you. The reality is that many people would say he would, but in their hearts that’s not how they really feel. Until God puts us to the test, that’s where we understand he really wasn’t enough. But we need to ask and pray to God, it isn’t true right now but get me to that point please… Pray that he be enough for you. If God doesn’t give you your hearts desire and all you are left with is him… will that be enough for you? If you don’t get the house, the finances, the marriage, etc will God be enough for you? Your identity shouldn’t come in the blessing, or in being a wife/husband, preacher/social worker, etc. You shouldn’t feel complete and happy, once you receive the blessing. We need to understand this life isn’t about us, but about the creator. Although he wants us to enjoy his creation, at the end of the day it’s about him. He’s the only one who can satisfy us, why? This is because he is the only one who will never fail. He is the creator so he is the one who knows what his creation needs in order to live. For example it’s like a fish, you take it out of the water it will die. It’s source of life is being in the water. It was created to thrive in the water. We were created in Gods image, which means he’s our fountain. We were created to thrive in life through God. Many times we try filling our voids, our needs with other things. We keep searching and searching, we have yet to find that the answer has been right in front of us all along. We keep searching and searching because we haven’t yet found the true one because many people don’t believe. But I promise once you find the answer you won’t be looking to the left and right, you will keep moving in direction. In this season Gods been ministering a lot to me, and I appreciate it. A lot of times we think and say things we don’t understand truly. We say we trust God, we say we love God, we say he is enough, we say only he satisfies, but once it’s truly put to the test that’s when we truly see if that’s really how we feel. It’s easy to talk, but sometimes the challenge is in the act part, it’s not easy to act. Listen the sad truth is that many people don’t really know God. I can be the first to say I don’t know my Father enough. But I want to! and I’m going to work hard in to. Many people depend their relationship on God based on other peoples relationship with God. Listen if you do that I promise you will never be satisfied. If you do that you will always fail and feel empty. I say that because I used to wait on prophets or my mentors to show me who my God is. I would wait on them to see what God wanted to tell me. God confronted and told me “ I don’t need anyone to worship, or talk to God for me. THE LINES WERE CROSSED (Jesus on the cross)”. God wants to talk to me directly and I am capable on hearing him! God has molded me in this area so much man! Now I go directly to him because I don’t want my relationship with God to be based on my pastor, prophets or anyone else. I want a genuine relationship with my Father. I want to talk to him directly, he wants me completely! I don’t need man anymore to speak to him for me, I can do it directly. Human beings can fail you at anytime, even great and powerful people of God can fail. Now if they fail you, if you aren’t mature enough you will think that God failed you. This is because you don’t know the Father truly. If you did you would be clear on so many things in life, he shows and tells you so much. God is not man, he is so perfect man! We aren’t perfect that’s why Jesus needed to come on earth to complete the word. The 10 commandments wasn’t enough to save us. God saw that we needed an ultimate savior. God is enough and until you understand that, nothing will ever satisfy. Once you have him, you have all you need.

  • “SIN”

Lately I’ve been seeing sin completely for what it is. The way God sees it as, disgusting, dark and evil. Through sin the devil loves to bring depression, sadness, anger, death, lust, guilt, shame, lie, the list goes on… The devil loves to label people with such names that will kill them. That will bring people to their lowest point. That’s the crazy part, the devil for sure will bring you really up, but once he got you he will bring you right back down to the lowest point of your life. Evil is so disgusting when you come to God. But what’s even crazy is that you don’t really see it like that until you get to God. The more you become one with the Father you start to hate and dislike what he does. You start to see things the way he does. My job is a really hard job, you see the worse cases. You see broken people and families. You see people reacting to their traumas in a dark way. You see generational problems continuing down the bloodline. I’m not going to lie I’m around this a lot and most of the time it feels so dark! But you know what God says, “sin” that’s all I hear and see on repeat in my mind. Sin is so dark readers, it can take you places you never thought you would ever reach. Sin is so lonely and not peaceful. When you are in sin you are literally in rebellion to God. You do what does not please the Lord. I feel like we human beings love to level sin, but all sin in the eyes of God is the same. It’s crazy because we don’t really know the level of how great sin is now a days. We have parents raping the creation that God used them to deliver. We have kids wanting to kill themselves. We have dads abusing of alcohol and neglecting the family. We have parents raping babies. We have mothers on drugs while pregnant, causing the baby to be negatively affected once they are born. We brothers and sisters sleeping together. We have fathers sexually abusing their kids because that’s what they saw. We have parents being domestically violent to each other in front of the kids. We have people being sex-trafficked. We have kids watching porn. We have people marrying the same sex. We have people literally transforming their gender. We have fathers and mothers abandoning their children. We have people aborting children. The list could literally go on, of the amount of sin in this world….. Guys this shouldn’t be normal! People shouldn’t be experiencing this. We just keep allowing sin to enter in every direction. We need to stop this wicked way and surrender to God! This is not how God wanted his creation to be. We have stripped Gods creation of purity.

But say with me, but there’s hope… repeat that with me 3 times….

Part 2 will come out next week stay tuned! ☺️

  • “Talitha Koum”

“He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).”
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭41‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This verse ministered to me so greatly. If you are reading this, just like God is telling me today “little girl, I say to you, get up”. God is telling you this as well. It doesn’t matter if you are a male or female, this is for everyone. Get up! Focus ! Keep building. Keep connecting yourself to our Father in heaven. There are times where we feel spiritually dead. Like we aren’t moving or excelling in God/life. Sometimes we lose motivation to do anything. Perhaps it’s because you haven’t been feeling like things are changing for your good, in life. But God Is telling you and I, to faith that he is resurrecting things that look like they are dead. Maybe it’s you, maybe it’s promises, maybe it’s dreams, maybe it’s desires, etc. Today God is telling you to just believe and get up! I unite with you to believe this for your life and for mine as well. We must rememeber that we are not God. We cannot see everything he sees. We see with our now, with what’s in front of us. But God is so clear in his word that we should not walk by sight but by faith. It’s like sometimes we forget the basic things God is so clear in his word to do. But sometimes those simple things we find hard to follow. But we must understand they are the most effective and necessary things we need in our life. God is so simple, he doesn’t complicate things. We are the ones who complicate things because we want things our way. But if we just trusted in God, if we just saw with his lens we would comprehend what he’s doing. So today I ask you to not give up! Activate your faith. Believe that God is doing something new. Believe that God is resurrecting the things you think are dead. Let’s take an act of faith today and believe our God is not done yet….
