“The Past”
It’s crazy because sometimes we let our past torment us. That’s exactly what the devil wants, he wants your past to torment you and not lift you up. But we have a God who doesn’t use our past so we can stay there and replay. In fact God forgives our past and he doesn’t bring it back to torment us. Rather to raise you up, as well as for his glory and honor. Our Father in heaven sees things different. For him it’s a chance to bring broken lives unto him, to restore and bring to his original plan. Wholeness between his creation and himself. If you are reading I want you to understand God is not going to waste what you’ve gone through. There are so many people in this world hurting. They are waiting for you to awaken so that you can tell the world I was once lost as well but now I am found. I was once broken and hurting. Now I am whole and healed/restored. So that you can show the world there is hope through Jesus Christ! I remember when I first came to Christ, as you get closer to God he exposes to you the things that need changing. When you are used to doing something for so long, it’s hard to change. But when you truly receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, your Spirit speaks to you loud and clear. When I would fail God I would feel like such a terrible person. The conviction that I would feel was insane. When you are in the world no one feels bad when they sin because it’s normalized. They also don’t have the Holy Spirit who convicts their Spirit loud and clear. When you are in the world it’s so easy to close your ears to God. The chaos through the distractions block him. Yes he broke the veil that was between you and him, but at the end of the day you have free will… God is so beautiful that he’s not focused on our wrongs, he simply wants our hearts. That’s not to say keep sinning, it means try your best to stop. Honestly it will simply reflect and state where your relationship with God is at. The closer you get to God, the less you sin. This is so because you are more focused on looking like God and pleasing him.
If you are out there and you feel hopeless, like my pastor says I can’t offer you religion but I can offer you a relationship with Christ. Allow him to be enthroned over your heart/life. Let’s give our past to God and allow him to work…

Don’t give up!
I feel like as Christians we forget key things God has left and told us. I find it funny when people get mad when they hear the same thing over and over. But if something is being repeated to you it’s probably because you still don’t understand it. I know we are constantly told to have faith and that’s probably one of the basics. But sometimes we show with our actions and words that we don’t have faith. Maybe you know, but if you truly knew don’t you think your outlook would be different…? Trust me I get it, it can be hard sometimes when what you’ve been told is not what is being seen in the natural. But who do you really serve? If God said it, he isn’t man to lie and waste his words. If he said it , it’s because he can, knows and wants to do it. But your attitude towards it has to change, it’s about your heart! According to Gods word in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. Faith is understanding although you are seeing something else or don’t see it, believe it anyways because greater is the one who lives in me than he who is in the world. When God shows you something or tells you and you doubt it, you are saying you don’t believe in his word. You see many people try to understand Gods magnitude but you can’t. God is supernatural, this worlds logic and God do not go together. Sometimes we can’t understand things because we don’t see what he sees. He is in all realms, he is the creator. Even then I think God is so good that in knowing we don’t see or understand all things like he does. He still goes out of his way to reveal things to us. He confirms it to us through dreams, visions, his word and a thousand more ways. He wants us to see what he sees, thats why he shows us bits and pieces. Plus some of the things that we want, let’s be honest they are just desires not needs… If you don’t have all that you need, God says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” Philippians 4:6. God is simple and straight forward. You want to know what you need to do in certain situations, the word of God has it all. God gives us essential tools, guidelines for everything in life. Don’t give up on what God has said over you if you can’t see it with your natural eyes. Remember there is a God that doesn’t stop working on your behalf. He shows that by how you are alive and breathing everyday. God wants to give you, your hearts desire. But he’s also not a God that will give it to you when he knows it will not be used according to his will in this season. Something I’ve noticed even in my life, sometimes we can be so selfish. Sometimes it’s more about “may my will be done” rather than “God may your will be done”. He is the creator which means we should be living for him, to give him all glory and honor. He’s the God that says,” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11. We must trust that…

Desires
There are certain things in your heart because God has placed them there with a purpose. Sometimes we forget what God has spoken and shown us maybe through dreams, visions, through prophets or directly. God is not a God of mistakes, I don’t really believe in coincidences when you are in God. I believe that he is a God of purpose and everything happens for a reason! Maybe you feel dismayed because something didn’t go your way. Maybe you told someone about what God showed you and instead they filled you with doubt/confusion. The thing is there are things that God shows you that are ONLY for YOU. This is something I had to comprehend. A lot of times people don’t believe because God hasn’t revealed it to them. Even then in Gods kingdom we should still try to be supportive of one another. If your friends or family believe that God showed them something, back them up through prayer. We need to start learning to be a community that loves and helps our neighbors. That is what God has called us to do in life. When Jesus was here he wasn’t going around gossiping about other people, putting them down, hating, etc. No! He was going around loving, helping, lifting people up, healing them, correcting them, etc. Let’s be honest some people let their emotions control them. I used to be so emotionally led that I would mistaken my voice and Gods voice. But if you feel like your friend is too emotionally led than speak to them, say pray about it and make sure it’s God leading your steps and not your emotions. Lead them back to what the word of God says. There are so many verses you can tell them that will help them understand what they are supposed to do in every situation. Back to what I was saying, be confident in what God has said over your life. Make sure if you are receiving a word from prophets or other people, make sure to ask God for a confirmation. Things that are said to you should be confirmations to what God has already told/shown you directly. He confirms it in different ways through visions, dreams, speaking to your heart, things you’ve already felt in your spirit, through his word, etc. Not only that, but you’ll see it fulfill or unravel in your life. For example God gave me a prophetic word through a prophet that I’m going to experience more prophetic dancing. While I’ve been dancing in my dance ministry, I have seen that come into fruition. God is no man to lie, what he says he will do, HE WILL DO! You just have to believe it, be patient and remain faithful. God is so clear and simple, he just asks for us to do this…
“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
Psalms 37:4-7 NIVEven if people are getting what God promised you, do not let your heart be dismayed. Rather refocus your attention to the Father and allow him to calm your heart/mind. Let him remind you that the promise still stands but let that not be your main focus. May your main focus be to glorify the Father in everything you do. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, more than you getting to the promise, God is more focused on who you become in the process of waiting. Will you become a child of God that trusts in the Father completely? Will you become a child of God who understands if God is all your left with, that’s enough? Will you become the child of God that puts God first and puts him in the center of your life? Will you be like a tree that is firmly rooted and isn’t swayed by anything that comes it’s way…? Let God be the writer of your story…

“His riches”
His riches and heavenly things are for those who are connected to him. God isn’t going to give you revelation if you aren’t connected or intimate with him. Gods not going to give you dreams if you aren’t asking him and speaking with him. For what? You can’t even understand when he speaks because you haven’t taken the time to get to know him. You don’t even know how he wants to speak to you . He’s not going to give you dreams and activate his gifts for you if you aren’t seeking him. If the way to them is by being intimate with him, knowing him, seeking him daily, how do you expect to receive it? You see gifts are irrevocable. God gives each and everyone of us gifts. But not all of them are activated because not everyone is connected to the wire that lights it up. For example how does a wired lamp light up? Through connecting to the outlet plug that lights it up. If God is our source to understand and do heavenly things we need to understand that there must be sacrifice. I can have the gift of dreams, but if I don’t have constant communion with him I won’t understand it. Everyone wants the title or gift but they don’t want to put in the work for it. I say that because i can relate to that. Sometimes we like the easy way in or out of things. I want the gift of healing, prophesy, dreams, etc but i don’t put in the sacrifice to attain it or be successful in it. We human beings don’t like to do so much work, we can be so lazy sometimes. God needs to know if once he gives it to you, that you wont forsake him. He needs to know that you aren’t using him only to get to his riches. I know we have chaotic lives, and i get that. But how come its easier for us to prioritize certain things that sometimes aren’t even important. Sometimes we allow unnecessary things to consume our time. In life we can make time for everythingggggg. I used to hear this saying all the time, ” you make time for whats important to you”. If God is your priority than you will make time for him, simple as that. You just need to ask yourself, “How important is God to me…?”. If you have time to watch netflix all day or for 3 hours, you can use half of that time to make room for God. God is so simple man and we just complicate our lives too much. He wants you to talk to him, seek him and revere him. He just wants you to acknowledge him every day of your life. He understands your life is hectic but he wants to do life with you. If you are at work and you are busy, take moments in between the hours to speak to him. The more you speak to him and listen to him, the easier it will be to connect with him. Everyone has there own relationship with God, create a connection that only you and God have. This is coming from someone who has struggled before to make time for God, still sometimes i do. But its about acknowledging the problem and doing better. I want to see God move in my life and church, but what am i doing for that? How am i making room for God to move in my life, because in order to do that i have to make room. I have to sacrifice certain things that i know are only a distraction for me to get to God. If i think that God is going to move while i’m still doing the very things that didn’t allow me to have a close relationship with him, i am absolutely wrong. Change your ways if you want a different outcome. Lets read this passage in Gods word…
Luke 10: 38-42
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” 41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[f] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
God is so simple… Sometimes we think God wants us to praise him by our standards. If we are making money, if we have the house already, if we have the best grades, if we are smart enough, if we have everything in order. But in fact he doesn’t care about that, of course he wants you to do good in life. But he’s more focused on whether you know him? If you fear him and understand that he is enough. He’s more focused on you being saved and knowing the truth. He’s more focused on if your words reflect your actions because after that everything will fall into place; he will help you get to that. Lets not skip stages in our lives, pleaseee. First we connect/seek God and than everything else will be added. In this passage he told Martha that she was focused on the wrong thing. Basically that she should be like Mary being at his feet, attentive and listening to him. Martha was focused on how she thought Jesus wanted to be praised. God is so simple that he just wants you to stay still and listen to him. You don’t need to do too much, just relax and be in his presence. Seeking him is pretty simple, we can’t hear or understand him in the chaos. Sometimes seeking him just looks like being on your floor, still and listening to him. Or reading the word in the park alone. Or worshipping him on your break time in your car. Or praying in between having customers at your job. Its simply being still to listen to him and talking to him. This weekend at my church God used one of the preachers to speak about “Hosting His Presence”. We want his presence to dwell and manifest in our lives. But we don’t do anything to make room for that. We don’t change our ways, God can’t dwell in an unclean house. I was saying before God is not going to dwell in a place where you are just filling yourself with garbage and not wanting to change. We need to purify ourselves and be transformed by the renewing of our mind DAILY. We need to cleanse ourselves with the blood of Christ, God needs to see more of Jesus through us and less of our sinful nature. I know that Martha was cleaning and preparing for Jesus, but her way was more religiously. She was more focused on having everything right/set that she forgot what was really important, making time to speak/listen to Jesus. Let’s not miss the mark with God because we are too busy feeding onto the distractions in our lives.

The Author
Sometimes we don’t let the author of the novel write the story. You know when someone is explaining something and you interrupt them? You completely miss the interpretation because you didn’t let them finish what they were trying to say all along. Thats the same thing with God, sometimes we try to tell God how to write our story. When in fact he leaves us with some clear verses. Proverbs 16:1, “Go ahead and make all the plans you want, but it’s the Lord who will ultimately direct your steps”. Proverbs 16:9, “Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there”. You see these verses are clear, we can have plans but God has the final say of how we get there. For example, i want a family; kids and a husband. Which God knows, and he is directing me there. But as God is directing me there, he is also preparing me first. God isn’t going to give you something he knows you aren’t ready for. God wants me to work on some things before i get there. As you are getting to the promise, he is also shaping and molding you on the way. You are never going to be perfect once you get to your destination, but there are certain things God wants you to understand before you get there. If i had a family two years ago, i would not have been the person i needed to be for my family. I would have brought harm unto my family. Im not a terrible person, but there are things in us that if we don’t heal/understand first it can affect us and our future. I say this because two years ago i was focused on my traumas. My finances were in shambles, i had a terrible relationship with my family. My surroundings were not the best and i wasn’t making the best choices. I wanted to be a wife and mother but i wasn’t acting like one. I was wasting my time on nonsense, not on wise things. I didn’t care about myself in any way and most importantly my relationship with God wasn’t where it should have been. In result of this i was pouring from an empty cup. When you have nothing to pour, it means you have nothing to give. You think i would have been able to pour into my husband and kids from an empty cup? Absolutely not! I would have been inconsistent with my future family because i was with God. I’ve learned that God works outside of our time, there are things he sees that we simply don’t. We need have faith and trust that he knows best and that he is working all things for our good. God is more worried about where your heart is at and who you become in the midst of getting to your promise. He’s more focused on having a relationship with you first. If you are a child of God and you don’t comprehend that he is enough, he will make sure before you get to your promise that you understand that. A man/woman is not supposed to complete you, they are supposed to add to you. Before any title you are first a child of God. A child, friendship or marriage shouldn’t give you identity. God should make you feel complete and worthy. You shouldn’t be satisfied once you look to the left or right, but simply as you look up to him. He needs you to be whole with him before you can be whole with anyone else. The blessings and things he gives us should only been an addition to our lives, not something that completes us. Job had plans for his future, but it wasn’t until his plans were interrupted that he understood that it is the Lord who ultimately directs his steps. He got to the promise, but it was only after his faith was tested. Will you follow God only when things go your way…? Or even in the midst of trials and tribulations…..
We are only complete in him….

Being Rescued
Why do we abuse grace ? Why can’t we learn the first time. The point for Jesus to come rescue us wasn’t for us to abuse Gods grace. It was because the law couldn’t make us right with God and now we have Jesus who does that for us. It’s not to say we will be perfect and that we are. But God knows everyone’s heart. There is no one in this world who could hide from the creator. He knows all things because he is the author of all things. God gives us grace to appreciate and every day take advantage of it. But not in the way we think, we shouldn’t keep sinning because he gives us grace. We should understand that it is a privilege and honor to have received this. That being said, everyday we should genuinely in our hearts really try to do better. God knows our hearts, he knows the difference between his people abusing his grace and truly receiving it. When people premeditate and plan sinful acts. Or when you genuinely in your heart feel bad and really tried to not fail God. He will for sure give you grace and love. But God will not be fooled, we need to align our hearts to him. To his heart, will, and spirit. God sent a savior so that everyday we can get closer to him. So we can go back to the original plan, a connection with the creator and his creation. Not an excuse, or leeway to keep sinning. I’m speaking to you guys but at the same time I’m speaking to myself. You know how many times God has saved me!! I am literally no one to judge you guys. I’m the first one who will raise my hand and say I’m not perfect. Im pretty sure the only reason why God saved me was because of my heart. The amount of times I’ve failed God and still do sometimes, is insane! But at a certain point we need to come to the point where we learn and stop repeating the same mistakes. It’s not okay to be in the same processes your whole life. Get tired of failing God and do better. Let’s truly focus and give God a true heart of worship. Let’s receive his gift but really cherish it. We need to understand that it is the greatest gift of all time. Let’s receive the gift with a humble heart, and genuinely try to be transformed by the renewing of our mind daily. It’s not easy, but don’t try to do it on your own. You haven’t been able to do it because you’ve been relying on your own strength. We tend to forget, “it’s no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me” and “I can do all things THROUGH Christ who strengthens me”. Meaning it’s not done by you, but by Christ.
Christ is the answer…
He is the truth, the way, and the life.

Agents of Change
We are called to make and be the difference. To be the salt and light of the world, which was Jesus when he was physically here on earth and still is. He passed that down to us when he ascended to heaven. You see when Jesus walked here on earth, he walked with sinners but notice how he never became like them. Jesus didn’t get contaminated, instead he influenced their lives. I know we aren’t perfect but everyday we should strive to live and be like Jesus. Jesus didn’t aplaude people for their sins but he did love the sinner. Through his love, gentleness, patience, and service lives were changed. Now, he understood not everyone was going to be changed but he still planted the seed. Now a days I see people in the world making more of a change than we Christian’s. We need to be better Christians and really exemplify who our Father in heaven is. If we have the answer in us, we should be the ones making the most change. We Christians sometimes tend to fall on the religious side that society portrays us to be. We need to stop offering religion to people and instead offer a true relationship with God. Jesus came here on earth to break protocols. He came to show people a new way of living. He came to break religious acts. When you are religious you kind of put God in a box. You don’t know what God is capable of doing, going to do and wants to do. God can do the impossible possible. It’s about getting to know God through Jesus. Being religious sets boundaries to getting to Jesus. That if you aren’t perfect you can’t recieve Jesus. I was reading an article about why people don’t like to be called religious and the author stated something that is so valid. When Jesus walked this earth, he reserved his harshest words for these types of religious people, the ones who thought that their actions were more important than their hearts, the ones who patted themselves on the back for saying their prayers properly and yet ignored the plight of the hurting ones around them, the ones who ultimately decided Jesus himself needed to die. What is it worth you giving to people if in your heart you genuinely don’t want to do it- you just want to check off a box and say you did something kind. Your heart is clearly not in the right place and you really don’t know God if you do that. In the word of God, God speaks about the heart so much. Some verses are…
1. “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.””
1 Samuel 16:7 NIV2. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23 NIV3. “As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.”
Proverbs 27:19 NIVBeing religious is praising God the way “YOU” think he wants to be praised. These verses are clear to me that God looks beyond what’s physically seen, he sees the genuineness of your heart. Get to know God truly with his word and you’ll see how he truly wants to be praised. How he truly wants you to walk your day to day life. God in his word states, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:36-37, 39 NIV). Meaning love on people… that’s not to say that he calls us to aplaude sin, but he calls us with love to correct people. There’s ways to change people rather than telling them, “you are going to hell if you don’t do this or that”. God didn’t aplaude the woman who was going to be stoned for her past he said to go and sin no more with love.
So I challenge you today, to be this type of Christian that follows this verse, James 1:22 ESV “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”. Not this type of Christian, Titus 1:16 ESV “They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work”.

Proverbs 31
Welcome back guys! I am so excited to share this blog with you. To all my fellas out there, we will be talking about a godly woman. But i don’t want you to think for one second, this does not pertain to you. You also want to read this blog, along with the women that will be reading this. This will teach you about the type of woman you SHOULD be pursuing. I feel like in today’s day in age a lot of men go after women with a banging body, beautiful face, flirty personality, etc. Although you are entitled to your own liking, if you are truly a “godly man” your liking will go beyond just a woman having a banging body. You know what the bible says in Proverbs 31…? The bible states in verse 30, “ Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised”. Let me elaborate, a woman who is charming can be misleading and trick you. Meaning her charm may not paint the whole picture. She can show you that she is good on the outside but on the inside be rotten. Maybe she has a lot of hatred, anger, jealously, comparison, evil, etc in her heart. One of my friends said the other day, ” Not everything that shines is gold” ! You know how deep that is??? Meaning just because something appears to be real it doesn’t necessarily mean it is. Just because a girl looks like a good person it doesn’t mean she actually is. A woman can tell you she’s a good person, but do her actions show it? The word also says beauty is fleeting, meaning that beauty doesn’t last long. One day we are all going to get old and some things might change about our appearances. A lot of us human beings like to think and dwell on temporary things. But you don’t think about your future. Yes, it might be cool to have a girl with a banging body. But will her banging body help her be a good mom or wife one day? If all she has to offer is simply having a banging body, will that be enough? But does she love God though? Does she know know God and is she constantly trying to be like Jesus. Does she pray for you? Is she intimate with God, consistently?- If she is not consistent with God, you think she will be with you? If her relationship with God isn’t good, what makes you think yours will be any better. Her relationship with God will be a reflection of how your relationship will be. Does she have all the fruits of the spirit? Does she love people? Does she communicate? Does she have traumas she hasn’t healed from? Is this the type of girl you see being your wife and the mother of your kids one day? Do you think she would make you happy temporarily or endlessly? Does her words match her actions?
I love Proverbs 31 so much !! You guys don’t understand how passionate i am for this chapter and honestly this whole book! God speaks about wisdom in this whole book He literally teaches in this book how we must live in order to be true Christians. He speaks about what is acceptable and what is not. I love chapter 31 because it teaches me what type of woman i want to be. Everyday i strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman. To me that is literally what a godly woman, mother, wife looks like. This woman is…
- Strong.
- Her husband is confident in her and lacks nothing.
- She brings her husband good and not harm.
- Helps those in need.
- She isn’t lazy and provides food her family.
- She is hardworking.
- Her lamp does not go off at night.
- She makes sure her family has everything they need.
- She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
- She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
- She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
This woman is literally a loving servant. You don’t know how much i long to experience and hear these next two verses. “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all”. I can’t wait to hear this from God and my future family. I want to be the woman God wants me to be, and i will be! I am getting and already there in the name of Jesus! You, woman who is reading this right now, strive to be like this woman as well! It will get you honor and favor from the Lord, trust me i am a living proof. If you are a male and are reading this, strive for this type of woman… Proverbs 14:1 states, ” Every wise woman encourages and builds up her family, but a foolish woman over time will tear it down by her own actions”. Be careful keeping your focus on woman simply for their beauty, she could be fleeting and disastrous.

Who I used to be.
I feel it in my heart to tell you who I used to be. Since we’ve been speaking about transformation, justification, and sanctification in Jesus. I want to tell you what Jesus did to and for me! Honestly he really saved me. The things I’ve gone through were pretty dark. I’ve been through depression, worry, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, victimization, loneliness, father-less, etc. Sin is a really dark thing if you don’t get it away from you. It will come to attack you to kill, destroy and steal (aka) the devils assignment towards your life. It’s bad enough we are born into sin, but once it continues threw our life that’s the dangerous part. But God is so good that he always leaves trails/signs to come rescue you. He really does leave the 99 to save that one lost sheep. Guys the things I could of gone threw if God didn’t save me, would be insane! I could of been pregnant, depressed without a husband. Or maybe I wouldn’t even have had the time to get to that point, I probably would of killed myself. Sin, if not delivered from it can lead you to some dark places in your life. I think about where God took me from and I’m amazed. The things God really does for you when you really leave your life in his hands, is amazing ! I used to be a needy person, I thought people could give me what I was missing in life. I was missing complete love and purpose. I used to be an emotional wreck! <—— I truly mean that! I would be so emotional with everything. People would call me the meanest of things and treat me terrible. I would cry right after that, I would need approval from EVERYONE. I would feel enough only when people would compliment me or tell me. I would feel soooo stupid because I couldn’t comprehend things quickly like everyone else around me. I had no confidence in myself what’s so ever. That’s what happens when you have traumas, but I will talk to you more profoundly about this another day… I used to be a sad little puppy everyone would have to walk on egg shells with. BUT GOD! Literally BUT GOD! Transformed me. He healed me. He delivered me. He FREED ME! Still sometimes I struggle but that’s the process. You don’t change instantly, God is constantly refining you. That’s the beautiful thing about God, even when you deserve to be given up on he believes you don’t deserve to! That’s why even if the devil puts doubt in my mind I will not listen! God has shown me that he is real. That JESUS really saved me from this evil world. Now I can truly say that God has turned me into a wise, beautiful, kind, loving, gentle, patient, faithful, joyful, self-controlled, peaceful and etc woman of God! Of course I fall short sometimes, but heyyy we all do. If we were perfect Jesus wouldn’t have needed to come save me and you. The important part is that we try to do better. God tests and sees our hearts. I emphasize we all fail because we really do. Yes God changed me and saved me, but i still fail. I’m really not perfect and thats okay because he came for people like me. If he saved me and changed me, he can for sure do that with you.
But do you truly want that? Do you truly want to be freed? The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 ESV, “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God”. The devil is the god of this world and he blinds people. Meaning he keeps them in bondage, from seeing the truth. What will you see today? Captivity or freedom? Do you truly believe in him?.. because i promise the truth will set you free!

Do you know Jesus ?
This is insane!! God ministered to me about this last week. The Pharisees KNEW the word of God. But they didn’t “know” “know” God. If they did they would of understood what Jesus was doing. Jesus is clear he didn’t come to abolish the law but he came to FULFILL it! Meaning to accomplish it and complete it. If you think about this, that’s insane! The Pharisees thought that Jesus was trying to abolish the law. There are so many scenes or stories in the Bible where it shows they questioned Jesus. They questioned his motives and if he was really the Messiah. Its crazy because not to judge there are many religions that teach like the Pharisees. The Pharisees still taught with the mosaic law, rather than the law of Christ. If they were so connected to God, they would have known or remembered what God was trying and going to do. He sent Jesus to come justify and sanctify us. He came to teach us a new way of living, one that pleases God. Jesus came to save us from our wicked ways. He came to establish a new law, one that would fulfill us and complete us. He came to bring us to the light. You hear people tell you, you get to know God when you read the word. But you don’t truly understand it until you yourself experience it. Lately I’ve been reading the word differently. I tell God I want to know him more through his word. I pray that you reveal and speak to me through your word. I can truly say in reading the word, I’ve gotten to know my Father more. Something that’s impacted me that my pastor says to our church all the time is , “I don’t have religion to offer you, but I can offer you a relationship with Christ”. That’s what we will get when we get to know Jesus. We will get a genuine relationship. When we know Jesus we get to know more of who we truly are. We will get to know the love that our Father in heaven truly has for us. We will get to know Gods character and voice. Jesus didn’t come to condemn people. He came to forgive, free, redeem, and love his people. When you read the word you see how Jesus walked. Jesus is exactly what we should be modeling. When Jesus spoke to the woman who was going to be stoned, he defended her. But most importantly he forgave her and told her “to sin no more”. Meaning he forgave her but he also asked her to stop sinning. God will forgive you but he also requires for you to change/not stay the same. The beautiful thing is that he doesn’t ask you to change by yourself, he walks you through it. You can tell someone knows Jesus or believes in him by the way they act and talk. The Pharisees clearly did not know that. It’s crazy how the whole Bible is an example of how this world is. When someone truly believes in Jesus it causes transformation. It’s different when someone tells you about Jesus, but once you get to know him on your own, he changes you completely. I believe if you truly believe in Jesus your actions will follow it. Let me show you a verse that proves my point, “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead”. God is clear if you believe in Jesus than your actions will show it. Your faith produces fruits.
James 2:14, 17 NIV
So to challenge you, do you want to know God through the Pharisees or through Jesus. I promise you one leads to eternal life and the other to eternal death. I say it roughly because it’s very crucial. One way teaches you wrongly and the other rightly. God is clear in his word, the only way to life is through Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
